Don't ever give up!

We had a very violent storm on the night of Tuesday 4th July and this poor tree was ripped from its post and needed to be re-staked

The bed to hide the compost bins is finally growing and the sunflowers are giving structure and height to the bed while the roses and clematis get going

The two new beds created by Ruth - the grass is now starting to grow making the whole garden more joined up and even slightly smaller.

The little barn - now fully occupied and the flowers are growing well and adding some colour and helping it to blend in.

Taken from the bottom of the garden showing the grass starting to come through - it makes the whole garden look smaller but richer.

On the 16th of November we finished the first lot of fencing for the Chicken and duck area - we are baby sitting Corrie & Ron's 2 pigmy goats next month!

one of our neighbours deer came to supervise the fencing and also for a handful of grass

James Finishing off!

We imported some hedging and Poplar and willows from Bowhayes Trees in the UK and with them came one of their locals on a free trip - he/she was very surprised to see where they had ended up as he/she were well packed with the hedging in a thick plastic bag

No passport or identity papers so we quietly put our visitor into Corrie & Ron's pond for a wash and to find a new home!
