Ryanair fly to Limoges - our nearest airport from Stanstead - East Midlands - Liverpool
The airport is only 90 minutes away and it is an easy drive to Moutier Malcard
Directions from Limoges Airport
As you leave the airport car park go straight over the first round about following the sign for the A20, then at the next turn left follow the A20 signs, this brings you up onto the bypass road. Follow this for approx 11 kilometres carry on over the next two roundabouts – carry on over the A20 and go round the round about and follow the signs for A20 Paris, this brings you onto the A20 northbound, follow this for approx 35 kilometres coming off at junction 23a signposted to Gueret on the N145. Be aware the speed limit drops from 130 to 90 kilometres as you come off the motorway and then reverts to 110 kmph – there is a speed camera just as the speed area changes – beware it does work!!.
Follow the N145 for approx 40 kilometres coming off at junction 48 signposted Gueret Centre take the last exit from the roundabout passing under the main road, as you come round the next roundabout follow the D940 La Chatre at the next round about you will see Jardiland take the 3rd exit signposted Bourges & La Chatre. After 23 kilometres you will reach the village of Genouillac follow the road through the village and after crossing the river and approx 1 kilometre turn left onto the D990 for Moutier Malcard 7 kilometres.
As you enter the village of Moutier Malcard you will pass the village green – with Tabac/Café on your right, after approx 200 metres there is a right turn into Route de Geay we are the 3rd on the left opposite the Chambres D’Hotes you have then arrived
Distance 128 kilometres and 1.5 hours without breaking any speed limits
